my name is Adam Rumball and I have been in the design industry for over 26 years, 16 of those as a freelance graphic designer. I moved from the UK to South Africa in the late 90s where I started working in publishing. This created a passion for book design that still exists today. In 2008 I decided to branch out on my own and that was when Sharkbuoys was born. In 2024 I returned to the UK with my artist wife.

My main focus is on print design but I also venture into the digital side too. As you will see from my portfolio, I offer design on many products from books, reports and magazines to corporate identity, branding and event promotion.

The one link in all my work is a passion for innovative and tasteful design solutions, delivered in my unique creative style. My designs are balanced, elegant and follow a 'less is more' philosophy.
